Alongside this, Studio Fix Fluid offers 24 hours of medium-to-full coverage, building and blending with your skin tone, whilst mattifying into a comfortable and extremely long-wearing foundation.
I don’t know about you, but when it comes to the finish of a foundation, I just adore matte formulas. I just like how this type of foundation wears on my skin. For me, the T-zone is the biggest obstacle that I face when it comes to selecting the perfect foundation. As I’ve mentioned before, I have ‘combination skin’, which means that my skin is prone to being both dry and oily.
All in all, I’d say that I’m more of a dry skin kind of girl, but like everyone else, I do experience oil build-up in my T-zone. So, an ideal foundation has to be able to withstand the formulation of oil that naturally materialises throughout the day, without showing signs of wear.
The MAC Cosmetics Studio Fix Fluid foundation is world-famous for its resistance to humidity and ability to control shine with an oil-free, non-caking, and breathable formula. In all honesty, this is pretty much everything that I could want to find from an ideal foundation.
When it comes to makeup, my taste is centered around keeping things natural. I feel most confident when makeup products enhance my natural features. Of course, everyone will have their unique style which works well for them, but for me, I love the effortless finish that comes from using this product.
Available in a vast range of shades, I can confidently say that there will be one tone of this dermatologically tested foundation for every complexion. My particular shade of choice is NC15, but for those who like to take part in regular tanning glow-up rituals, I would highly recommend selecting a darker shade that matches your tan for an even finish. However, if you’re not a tanner, select a shade that matches your natural skin tone and you’ll be set.

Due to this foundation’s perfectly balanced characteristics, breakouts are not something that I experience when using this product. In the past, liquid formulas of a similar nature have caused the odd blemish to appear, but the MAC Cosmetics Studio Fix Fluid foundation provides nothing but flawless coverage every single time.
Naturally, it’s not just the length of wear that should be considered, but the weather too. No matter whether I’m heading out to brunch, getting ready for work enjoying an evening out in the town, MAC’s Studio Fix Fluid keeps my skin feeling matte regardless of the season or event.
One of my favourite characteristics of this product that I have to mention within today’s MAC Studio Fix foundation review is the minimisation of; pores, blemishes, and imperfections, giving the skin’s surface a silky smooth and even appearance. If you like the whole airbrushed look, this could be the little pot for you.
Directions for Use:
When it comes to applying MAC Cosmetics Studio Fix Fluid, I like to use a beauty blender to apply the product evenly onto my skin. After cleansing my face, I soak a beauty blender underneath running lukewarm water and squeeze until the sponge has reached its full size.
Once the sponge has grown in size, squeeze the sponge firmly for the last time, releasing excess water. At this point, the sponge should be damp, but not dripping wet. Then apply a 10 pence piece sized amount of MAC Cosmetics Studio Fix Fluid foundation to the tip of the sponge and dab all over your face.
Using a stippling motion, blend the product onto the areas where you would like the most coverage until even and there you have it. The most perfect
